Welcome to Sunshine Daydream, an inviting coastal retreat in Southern Shores. Just a short walk to the beach and a mile to Duck, this thoughtfully appointed home offers the perfect balance of relaxation, convenience and Outer Banks charm. With three ensuite bedrooms, Sunshine Daydream accommodates up to six guests - is ideal for couples, friends or families seeking a beach getaway. Guests also enjoy access to Southern Shores Civic Association amenities, including courts and beach parking access.

Sunshine Daydream features the upper two levels of the home with three ensuite bedrooms including two king suites and one queen suite, each with its own private full bathroom.

Outside, enjoy the private pool, relax on the deck, or take one of the bikes for a ride to nearby Duck. Guests also have access to Southern Shores Civic Association amenities, including tennis and pickleball courts and parking at the beach access lot 3 blocks south. The beach is one block east, and an easy walk or bike ride within a few minutes.

Guests have access to the home's upper levels, including all bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, decks, private pool, elevator and laundry room. Southern Shores Civic Association amenities, including tennis and pickleball courts and oceanfront parking access, are also available during your stay.


While the upper levels of the home, including all bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, decks and pool, are reserved exclusively for guests, we do reside in the studio on the ground-level of our home. The foyer on the ground level provides access to the guest laundry room and is the only area where our paths may cross. The ground-level studio and garage are reserved for owner use. Additionally, you may see us outside with our friendly dog, but we'll keep her with us during your stay.

Sunshine Daydream is designed for guests seeking a peaceful and relaxing beach experience and may not be the best fit for groups planning large gatherings or events. Maximum occupancy is 6 registered guests.

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay.

The property includes a private fenced pool. Children should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while using the pool and outdoor areas.

The elevator is provided as a convenience for guests. Children should not operate the elevator without adult supervision.

Sunshine Daydream is a non-smoking property. Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products are not permitted anywhere on the property, including outdoor areas.

Street parking is prohibited in Southern Shores and may result in ticketing or towing. Please use the driveway when parking at the house.
