Welcome to Safe and Sound, a beautiful 5-bedroom soundfront retreat in Corolla Light Resort. With sweeping views of the Currituck Sound, spectacular sunsets, a private pool and hot tub, and access to exceptional resort amenities, this inviting Outer Banks home offers the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, and make lasting vacation memories.

The reverse floor plan is designed to make the most of the waterfront setting, with spacious gathering areas, three king ensuites, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room. With room for up to 12 guests, there's plenty of space for family and friends to gather, unwind, and enjoy vacation at their own pace.

GROUND LEVEL

Let the fun begin in the game room, complete with a pool table, wet bar, and beverage cooler. Step outside for easy access to the private pool and outdoor gathering areas. A half bath and laundry area add convenience to this level.

FIRST LANDING

A comfortable king ensuite offers beautiful sound views and private deck access, creating a peaceful space to unwind.

SECOND LEVEL

This level features a king ensuite, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with two bunk beds. The queen and bunk bedrooms share a full hallway bathroom. All three bedrooms enjoy lovely sound views and deck access, offering plenty of opportunities to take in the waterfront surroundings.

SECOND LANDING

Another spacious king ensuite features beautiful sound views and private deck access, providing a quiet retreat between the main living areas and bedrooms below.

THIRD LEVEL

The heart of the home! The open living and dining areas welcome everyone to gather, while the well-equipped kitchen makes preparing everything from casual breakfasts to family dinners a breeze. The bright sunroom offers a wonderful spot for morning coffee, reading, or simply enjoying the views.

Step outside onto the waterfront terrace, where sweeping views of the Currituck Sound and spectacular sunsets create the perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings together.

BEACH DAYS & COROLLA LIGHT RESORT

Enjoy the best of both sides of Corolla! Start your morning with a walk or bike ride along the mile-plus soundfront trail, spend the afternoon at the beach, and return home for a beautiful sunset over the Currituck Sound.

Beach access is conveniently located across from the Austin Street cul-de-sac. Walk, ride one of the bikes provided, or enjoy the convenience of Corolla Light's seasonal trolley service.

As a guest of Safe and Sound, you'll have access to Corolla Light's wonderful collection of resort amenities, including:

• Oceanfront swimming pools, a soundfront pool, and playground

• Tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and grass mini-golf

• A 36,000-square-foot Sports Center featuring an indoor heated pool, fitness center, spa, and indoor courts

• A scenic soundfront walking trail, fishing and crabbing piers, and kayak and paddleboard launch areas

Resort wristbands and guest information are available for pickup at the Sports Center. We'll share everything you need to know before your arrival.

For easy beach days, optional chair and umbrella setup packages are available through Corolla Light Beach Rentals.

Enjoy lunch or poolside service at Oceanfront Grille, located at the resort's Oceanfront Complex. The restaurant also welcomes the public for dinner, offering a lovely setting with beautiful ocean views.

SUNDAY-TO-SUNDAY STAYS

During the summer season (June through September), Safe and Sound welcomes guests for Sunday-to-Sunday weekly stays. It's a wonderful way to enjoy a more relaxed arrival and departure while skipping much of the busy Saturday traffic on the Outer Banks! Planning a visit outside the summer season? We offer more flexibility with arrival dates and lengths of stay.

AGE & OCCUPANCY

Safe and Sound comfortably welcomes up to 12 guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old and stay at the home throughout the reservation. In keeping with Corolla Light HOA guidelines, the home and resort amenities are reserved for registered guests only. To preserve the peaceful setting for everyone, parties and events are not permitted.

WATERFRONT & POOL

One of the best parts of staying at Safe and Sound is enjoying the beautiful Currituck Sound right in your backyard! Whether you're relaxing by the private pool or watching the sunset from the deck, there's plenty to love about this waterfront setting. Please keep a close eye on children near the pool and soundfront areas. The private pool is typically open May through September, weather permitting, and the hot tub is available year-round.

PETS & SMOKING

To keep Safe and Sound comfortable for all our guests, the home is pet-free and smoke-free, including vaping. Unauthorized pets may result in a $500 fee, additional cleaning or damage charges, and termination of the rental without refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

PARKING

You'll have five parking passes available for your stay. Corolla Light requires a parking pass for each vehicle, and additional vehicles or street parking are not permitted. Please plan accordingly if your group is arriving separately.

A FEW THINGS TO BRING

To help you settle in, we provide starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. You'll want to bring your family's favorite toiletries, personal care items, and any additional supplies you may need during your stay. Feel free to use any pantry staples or household items left by previous guests.

LINENS & BEACH TOWELS

Pack a little lighter! Bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided for your stay. If you use the beach towels, we'd appreciate your help washing and returning them to the shelf before departure. Corolla Light also asks that towels not be hung over deck railings.

ENTERTAINMENT

When it's time to unwind indoors, enjoy Spectrum cable and popular streaming apps on the Apple TVs in the living area and game room. Feel free to sign into your favorite streaming services, and simply remember to sign out before heading home. The main living area also features a Sonos sound system for guests with a Sonos account.
