Nestled along the oceanfront in Corolla's unique 4x4 community of Ocean Beach, this spacious 16-bedroom home accommodates up to 34 guests, making it an ideal destination for family reunions, multigenerational vacations and gatherings with friends.

The 4x4 Experience

Beyond the home, discover a truly special stretch of the Outer Banks. Wide sandy beaches, beautiful dunes, and Corolla's famous wild horses create an unforgettable coastal setting.

Located approximately two miles north of the paved road, Anegada's Windjammer offers the adventure of 4x4 beach living while remaining relatively close to Corolla's shops, restaurants, and attractions.

A true 4WD vehicle is required to reach the property via the sandy beach road. AWD vehicles are not recommended.

Oceanfront Living

Enjoy breathtaking Atlantic views, expansive decks, and direct access to the shoreline via your private boardwalk through the dunes. Spend your mornings watching the sunrise, afternoons relaxing by the private pool, and evenings soaking in the hot tub under the coastal sky.

Inside, generous gathering spaces offer plenty of room for everyone to come together. The open living and dining areas provide a comfortable setting for shared meals, conversations, and making memories.

With 16 bedrooms spread throughout the home, guests can enjoy time together while still having their own space to unwind. Sleeping arrangements include 13 king beds, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and 2 sets of twin bunks.

When you're ready for a break from the beach, there's plenty to enjoy right at home! Gather for movie nights in the theater room or enjoy friendly competition in the ground-level recreation room, featuring a pool table. Multiple living areas and spacious decks provide additional places to relax and reconnect.

Whether your days are spent exploring the shoreline, gathering around the dinner table, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze, Anegada's Windjammer offers a beautiful setting to slow down and enjoy time together.


Guests will have private access to the entire home and its amenities, including the swimming pool, hot tub, theater room, recreation room, spacious decks, patio and private boardwalk through the dunes to the shoreline.

Self-check-in is available beginning at 4:00 PM. Detailed arrival instructions and your access code will be provided before your stay.

4WD ACCESS REQUIRED

Anegada's Windjammer is located approximately two miles north of the paved road in Corolla's 4x4 beach community. A true 4WD vehicle with adequate ground clearance is required to reach the property. AWD vehicles are not recommended. The beach serves as the primary roadway, and driving conditions vary with tides, weather, and shifting sand. We recommend reducing tire pressure to approximately 15–20 PSI before entering the beach.

WILD HORSES & NATURAL SURROUNDINGS

Corolla's famous wild horses roam freely throughout the community and may occasionally visit the property! For everyone's safety, guests must remain at least 50 feet away and never approach, touch, or feed the horses. Please secure all outdoor trash bins to help protect our wildlife.

VACATION RENTAL INSURANCE

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment. Unexpected circumstances such as illness, travel delays, severe weather, or other unforeseen events can disrupt even the best-laid plans. Travel insurance may provide coverage for eligible cancellations, interruptions, and other unexpected expenses, depending on the policy selected. We encourage guests to review their coverage options and purchase insurance shortly after booking.

HOUSE POLICIES & PROPERTY CARE

Anegada's Windjammer welcomes family reunions, celebrations, and special occasions. Organized events, including weddings and receptions, require advance approval and may be subject to additional fees and requirements. We ask that all gatherings remain within the property's occupancy limit and that guests celebrate responsibly, with consideration for the home, neighboring properties, and peaceful surroundings. Please contact us before booking to discuss your plans.

The primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is 34 guests, including children.

Well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome. Pet fee is subject to our pet policy. 4 dog max; dogs only - no cats are permitted.

Smoking and vaping are NOT permitted inside the home. If smoking outdoors, please dispose of cigarette butts properly and safely.

POOL & HOT TUB

The private swimming pool is seasonal and typically available May–September, weather permitting. The hot tub is available year-round.
*Dogs are NOT permitted in the pool or hot tub.

BEACH PARKING

During the seasonal beach parking permit period, two county-issued permits are provided with your stay and are required to park on the beach in peak season. Driving along the beach to access the property does not require a beach parking permit. Additional parking regulations may apply.

PLAN AHEAD

This is a unique, remote coastal setting without paved roads, nearby shops, or restaurants. We recommend stocking up on groceries and supplies before heading onto the 4x4 beach. Corolla's shopping, dining, and attractions are accessible once you return to the paved road.

BOOKING SCHEDULE

During the summer rental season, reservations are offered weekly, Sunday to Sunday. Off-season stays may offer more flexibility - please inquire about availability for off-season preferred dates.
